The next issue of the Ivory Herald is in the works. For anyone who is interested in submitting an article for this edition or the following, please let me know as soon as possible. I am once again accepting letters for Cylithera's Corner. If you have submitted one and do not see it in the next issue it will be going into the issue following. Paymets for articles range from 100k or more. Last but not least, thank you to those who have worked with me on the Herald. Your work is appreciated by myself and the readers.

Citizens of Draconis,

I write this note in a last, desperate attempt to enlist the aid of some courageous warrior who might save us from the state of ruin which has befallen us. But be warned, ye'll most likely not survive the attempt, and only the strongest, bravest, most resourceful, and most cunning of ye will even have a hope of success. Still, if by some remote chance ye feel up to the challenge, then please look for me in my office in the armoury of the old castle just north of Ivory Village. Ye're our last hope.

Rumor persists that the secretive Illusionist guild has elected a new leader, Banedon. Subtle changes to the guilds spells have been noticed and speaking from a position of knowledge, further changes to the spells will be forthcoming.

In a suprising twist to the Mage guild elections, Jareth withdrew from the election and a revote was held with Vanbastian becoming the new Magius Maximus.

Well for those of you that have never connected to Everdark, you might be wondering, hey, I want to play but I dont see how. Yeah, yeah, I suppose that would be useful information. To connect to Everdark, simply telnet to 'everdark.org 3000'. This can be done via command line, a telnet utlity such as CRT, or by using one of the clients in the 'Clients' section of this website. We hope to see you soon, and as always, have FUN!
